This is our final newsletter, as you probably all know that we are due to terminate in 3 months from now.  It has been interesting to read through all the old newsletters and updates on here over the past 17 years.  And we are proud to know that any member with us from Day One of our Private Subscription Service, betting to £100, has won close to £3/4million.  A rather tidy 2nd income from a hobby which has hopefully brought you much excitement and fun, as well as a better quality of life.

However, to achieve this on your behalf has taken a high personal toll as I have sacrificed my entire social and family life for 17 years to bring you this quality of service.  It is true that ISIRIS is a “team effort” and not the work of one person, but all 4 of us who run ISIRIS are suffering health problems from a total drainage of energy reserves.  For the past 14 years, there have been 4 of us running ISIRIS and several others full time on the horses (in addition to Kathy in the office).  Unfortunately, as you know, 3 of our close associates have died in the past year – including our Hunter Chase expert, the man behind the double maximums of the 1990s, and a top bookmaking source.  Another is 82 now and not in good health.  Also, the nature of racing has changed too much – instead of 3 hcaps and 3 non-hcaps, most cards now have 5 or even 6 hcaps, in a bid to churn out mass garbage for the mug punters.  Ever increasing volume of racing, and ever decreasing quality, now accounting for 7 days a week and 6 nights a week in summer too.  It is the end of a glorious era, and time for people of integrity such as ourselves to bow out gracefully.

ISIRIS members have been like a family, and we have had bereavements and celebrations from amongst the members through the years, as they have also been a part of the often dramatic ups and downs of my own life too.  Too many highlights to write about here, though the incident of bringing 2 brothers together (both independent members) who had not seen each other since World War Two, is still one which springs to mind.

We are saying “goodbye” on a high, with another very successful year in progress, with 60% of main account bets doing their job, for a profit of 225 points so far in 2008 (that is £22,500 profit to £100 stakes).

Finally, we still don’t close the door totally yet.  The Service will DEFINITELY close on 31st December, but there is a small possibility (20%?) that it may still re-open from March 2009 with membership by invitation.  And in any event, the Losers Line and the Mark Your Card Line will still continue throughout 2009 (or for as long as it remains legal to pass on stable information……..though we would argue that WE are bringing it into the public domain for anyone who wishes to know).

So we take this opportunity to thank the many thousands of people who have joined as members since 1992 or who have phoned the premium rate lines.  Yes, you have given me a better quality of life, but yes, I also feel confident that we have done the same for every single person who has used our services too.  A numerologist member in 1993 once told me that “ISIRIS” was the most powerful word she had ever come across in her entire life, and said that any person associated with the word is certain to be blessed with SUCCESS.  Thus, we hope it has been for each of you as well as ourselves.
